Welcome to the grand new Meta World that unites traditional Russian Art and contemporary culture. Our name is Matryoshka Art Group®️ and we are an aspirational team of various talents led by a young digital artist and costume designer Erribeka.
Our main goal is to be the first NFT Art project to merge into regular pop culture and mainstream media. That leads us to our promoting campaign, that will start with an exhibition of Erribeka’s unique art in one of the largest and influential galleries in Moscow.
To maintain uniqueness of our collectibles, there will only be 2000 released, 125 of which were hand drawn by Erribeka themselves, representing world famous figures such as scientists, politicians, artists, celebrities, movie characters and more. Each lot was designed with heart and attention to smallest details, to achieve a more striking resemblance.
Erribeka is a pseudonym of the 22 years old Alex, who is a character illustrator and costume designer from Moscow. Since early childhood, Alex dedicated most of their time to drawing, playing pretend and making big dreams about leaving a significant mark in history.
At the age of sixteen, they already came up with an artist nickname Erribeka, that originated from the teen’s surname, and started to upload their works on social media. One of the biggest subjects of Erribeka’s art always has been costume creation, as well as styling and color matching.
So, at 18, Alex moved to Milan, to study fashion design at Istituto Marangoni. During those three years, they have created a personal clothing brand, visited comic conventions all around Europe both as an artist exhibitor and a visitor, and found new passion in theatrical makeup and acting.
When Alex graduated fashion school and returned to Moscow due to pandemic, they quickly took up an opportunity to get a second degree in acting, meanwhile working their mind on how to put artistic skills to good usage and start something completely unique.
This is how «Matryoshka Art Group» started its early development. Now, when it comes to styling, color coordination and aesthetic, Erribeka bloomed into a true pedant and visionary perfectionist. This shines through the Russian dolls’ uniqueness and helps the project to stand out from other NFT collectibles.
